There was a part of her that should probably be thankful that he had paid her for the information, but her pride wouldn't allow that. No sir. Using a rock she transported the sack of money to him. "No problem, but I'm good."

His pride sent the money flying back. "I have no need for it. Do whatever you want with it. Leave it there for all I care, but the money is yours."

"Feh," she grumbled, giving him a side glance. "Her services won't come cheap, you might need all the coin you can get, but very well."

Fleetfoot blew into the face of the human. She wasn't happy to be catering to his needs.
Aiden Was surprised. He'd never heard that about the girl. He dropped down and looked up into Slate's face. 'What kind i wonder.' Peanie quipped privately to Aiden. She was rewarded with a mental scolding. 'P. We do not like to even recall ours. And she just told a perfect stranger.' He was embarrassed at his weakness. "Deluge." He muttered and sat down with a thud. He hid his face in his hands and made it obvious he would say no more and didn't want it even acknowledged. Peanie puffed her feathers and hopped onto Aiden's head. She was obviously upset at the name. She chattered in a series of chirps and whistles. Her internal monologue left only for Aiden to understand. It would seem her hatred of Slate had increased. Even if it wasn't truly the girl's fault.

So it was that bastard, huh? What did he do with his time that didn't devastate people? Her sister and her had been lucky. They were a side project of sorts-something about twins and different elements-and hadn't been experimented on by him personally. Truth was if they had, they probably wouldn't be here right now. She'd heard rumors that not many survived his experiments and it was a wonder that Aiden had. Seeing him buckle in on himself she knew she was pretty useless at comforting people, so she kneeled down a few feet away to give him some breathing room. She wasn't good with words, and besides it seemed like his spirit beast was tending to him, so the best thing she could do was shut up and not make things worse.

John's ears perked up at the name. "Thank you Aiden, I'm so sorry to have to bring it up." He was careful to hop on Fleetfoot's back. "Sorry for wasting you time." He said to the mighty beast. "Let's head back to camp."

Fleetfoot grumbled but was partially appeased by the respect in John's tone. She harrumphed and called to the pups. The young wolves refused. They whined piteously and huddled around aiden and the angry spirit beast. It was the first Panie had noticed them. 'Oh.' The bird said startled out of her angry monologue. 'Fenris pups.' She shimmered into her natural form and hovered around the pleading pups. 'Greater beasts of the more... beastial natures.' Her voice sounded as if she grinned, pleased by the encounter. 'A rarity.' Fleetfoot wasn't happy at the pup's refusal and let it be known with a growl. 'Not as rare as a free Aurai.' The curiosity pulled Aiden's eyes above his arms but he refused to uncurl just yet. "Whats a Fenris?" He asked in a muted tone, having heard Peanie but not the wolves.
OOC: It would seem Peanie can communicate with the beasties. And she actually likes them.
