"Come on let's get out of here." She ushered the mother and her child out of the building doing as Vapor said. "I want to see you again alright.... You better stay alive." She muttered under her breath.

"Don't be so dramatic." He smirked watching as they left. "Now then I can talk to the infamous Deluge, or should I say.... evasive Deluge." He had been trying to find this man for quite some time. "You are a very hard man to find. Those ruins of yours didn't make it any easier either."

Now another problem to deal with. More than anything he simply wanted to finish his experiment, was that too much to ask? Apparently so..."And why, pray tell have you been seeking me out?"

He smiled at the older man. "Looking for work, and I hear you lost alot of your men." Jack laughed quietly watching the water calgor lose consciousness. "Interesting machines you have there. I'm curious as to how they work."

"And the base along with them," he noted, a bit irritated that both times it had been his brother and his crazy companions doing. Though these companions were different from the last ragtag bunch. Honestly it was hard to find competent help these days...Deluge's arms enclosed around Vapor as the younger calgor began to slump down. Glancing down he noted that his eyes were still somewhat opened but definitely unfocused. He wouldn't be going anywhere anytime soon. At the question of how the contraptions worked he offered a sidelong glance. "They simply block off a calgor's spirit beast through the use of a certain material."

Eve ushered Mist and Kyoto out of the building doing what Vapor told. 'That idiot.' She felt her knuckles turning white from her clenching so hard. 'I should have stayed and helped.' She led them away from the building getting a fair distance away.

Kyoto was chewing on her lip worriedly as Eve led them both out of the building. She was seriously considering running back in and doing...something. Oh who was she kidding? She'd be useless...and with mother hurt they were out of luck on trying to get Uncle Vapor back. At least for now, but Uncle Deluge was known for working fast on his experiments...

"Truly amazing." He wiped the blood off his lower half. "I'm amazed I haven't heard of this." Jack took a closer look at the device. "It's settled I shall join your entourage." He gave the man a sadistic smile.

The air in the room dropped a few degrees as the calgor began to think it over. Well, he could always use more pawns, but he had a feeling that this one would be more trouble than he was worth...Only time would tell he supposed.
Guiding the groggy Vapor out of the building he allowed a thick fog to form to conceal them a bit better. To put it mildly ever since that day he hadn't exactly been on the best terms with the government in Seaway. Of course destroying more than half of the city ten years ago would leave them rather sore about him even to this day...and he hadn't stopped adding to the bounty that had been placed on his head since.

Jack whistled a familiar tune following the water calgor. His smiled showed blood stained teeth as he smiled along to the tune.

Eve leaned against the wall filling her nails dig into her palms. "We're going to get him back..." She told the two looking away. "As soon as I get my sword I'm going after them."

"But you shouldn't go alone," Kyoto said with a frown. Knowing Uncle Deluge, he would take Uncle Vapor somewhere especially secret and that would be a pain not only to find, but it more than likely would be heavily guarded. Eve wouldn't be able to fight her way through all of that. There were few options they had at this point...

That really hurt, because all Kyoto could do was sit at home and wait for them to return. It was all her mother could do now too. Even if she really did want to go after Uncle Del and save Uncle Vapor from him, Kyoto knew she'd only be in the way. Kyoto blinked a few times, "Who?"
