Burner picked up on the change of mood almost instantly and he frowned. He could tell by her words she was in pity city, but it wasn't the words that got his attention. Oh hell, was she about to cry? It kind of looked like it. If there was one thing Burner couldn't handle it was when ladies cried. For some strange reason it always bugged him. Burner gritted his teeth and did something he didn't usually do, at least not to anyone who wasn't his family, "I'm...sorry. I'll try and act better, I'm a guest in your house and I haven't been a very good one."

Shizuo scowled and took another draft of his cigarette. This girl knew how to guilt trip. "I'm sorry." He mumbled under his breath. "I'll make sure to hold my tongue in the future." He placed his cigarette in the ash tray and rubbed his eyes behind his purple tinted glasses. "Why did that guy throw you through a wall Burner?" He asked trying to lighten the mood.

Burner gave Shizuo a side glance before remarking, "I called him trash, but he threatened first."
It wasn't like the guy hadn't deserved it. The mere mention of his actual name was a threat in itself, but the fool wouldn't say a word. If he did he'd be implicating himself just as much and Burner doubted the idiot would want to return to prison. A few scandals in the paper, but it would all be washed away within weeks if anything actually came to light. After all what he did had nothing to do with his parents, that was plain to see. Most didn't know he existed, and those who did couldn't seem to ever connect the dots.

Saki's ears perked up a little bit indicating she was happy. She sniffed slightly throwing it off as bad allergies. "Yeah, what the hell was that about?" Pyro jumped into her masters lap and fell asleep once again. "I take it you guys knew each before now." Saki sighed thinking back on the ruined wall. 'Man the boss is going to be fuming about this.' She rested her head in her hand and massaged her temple. 'I hope I'll be able to find someone to fix it quickly.'

"He was just trying to be a punk and tried to hold something against me," he said, leaving it at that. He wasn't going to bring up what that was and moved on.
"Not really," he said, the man must have heard of his real identity somewhere though, and that was a problem. He'd have to figure out who the leak was and convince them to keep their trap shut. "I mean I didn't really know him all that well, but apparently he knew me. My name doesn't exactly carry warm fuzzy feelings, y'know?"

Saki shook her head. "No I don't know." She heard the door open and the shuffling of shoes.
"Saki I'm home and I brought back dinner Oh." Mrs. Maragi walked in with two bags of groceries in her arms. "I didn't realize we had quests."
"Hi Mom." Pyro jumped off of Saki's lap and rubbed it's side against the leg of the Maragi family Matriarch. "Mom this is Burner, and Hewaijima." She held a hand to both as they were introduced. "Some people I met at work."
Mrs. Maragi smiled at the two. "Give me a minute and I'll make some tea for you and your guests." She quickly made it into the kitchen followed closely by Pyro.

Shizuo bowed his head in thanks to the elder woman, he then turned his attention back to the two sitting in front of him. "So he just attacked you because of your reputation?" He was very surprised about this but he didn't show it. 'He's just a kid.' He thought to himself. "What exactly does your name imply?"

"Thank you ma'am," he said politely before looking at Shizuo.
"Pretty much," he grinned a bit. He blinked before shrugging. "I get into a lot of trouble around town. It's a talent of mine unfortunately. Can't ever seem to keep my mouth shut when someone makes me angry."

"Hmmmmm." Shizuo mumbled in thought. "Understandable, nothing much to do in this city.... especially for a kid." Shizuo was reminded of his boring youth spent in the city. Now he couldn't get any peace and quite anywhere considering that maniac Walters was on the loose. "Damn that man." He mumbled under his breath.

"I could probably find something else to occupy my time, but I've just always enjoyed fighting," he said with a shrug. He remembered the days when he used to spar with Master. It was the best way to let out his aggression and often times when he'd do that he'd stay out of trouble. Since Master's death nothing had really been the same with Burner.

Saki shook her head listening to the two boys talk. "Theres plenty to do in the city. You just have to look in the right places." Pyro had finished messing with Mrs. Maragi and had now decided to jump on to the table where they were talking around. "Take the Bar I work at for example. On many nights it's filled with couples listening to the lounge music." She scowled as bad memories were brought up. "Or on some other nights it's filled perverted boys." Her ears began flaring up remembering a few nights ago where she had beaten two young men who had been trying to get a better look at what hidden beneath her skirt.
Mrs. Maragi came in with a tray of tea setting it down on the table. "Pyro get down from there." She scolded the small fire fox as it jumped down from the table as ordered. "I can't remember the last time you had company Saki." The middle aged woman smiled at the two new comers. "Could one of you two be suitors looking to my lovely daughter?"
Saki's ears began to burn with fire even more, and her face turned red from embarrassment. "Mom their just some guys I met at work, I helped them get out of a fight."
Mrs. Maragi smiled at her daughter. "Oh you know how I like to tease you darling." She laughed turning to Burner. "I'm sorry but this is terribly rude of me. Have I met your parents before.... you look awfully familiar, but I just can't put my finger on it."

"Technically I'm not old enough to be in one, right?" Burner responded back with a smirk. "Usually if someone isn't trying to take my head off I like to watch the fireworks."
Burner smiled fondly to himself for a moment remembering his younger sibling running around him and asking him to play tag with them, but once the fireworks started they'd all quiet down and sit outside to watch. He even got along with his older siblings when they were watching the fireworks. It'd been a while since they'd all come together as a family to do something like that. He'd have to see what he could do to get that to happen.
He tipped his head politely to Mrs. Maragi. Before trying to ignore the comment about one of them being a suitor for her daughter. He about went to say that he could've gotten himself out of trouble but refrained.
"I'm not sure ma'am," he said trying to dodge the woman's question.

Shizuo nodded at Burner's answer. "I don't think anybody in this city hates fireworks." He bowed his head in thanks at the elder woman when she brought his tea. "Thank you." He watched as Saki's ears flared up again at the mention of one of them being a suitor. Shizuo laughed at the display as the mother began to question Burner further. 'This kid can't get a break from these questions can he.' He wondered to himself drinking his tea. The tea was of excellent quality and he decided it was worth mentioning. "This Tea is amazing."

Mrs. Maragi smiled at her daughters guest. "You like it? It's my own recipe, I add milk and honey while it's brewing on the oven."
Saki sighed and her ears returned to a normal state before turning to Burner. "Sorry about my Mom." She muttered so her mother couldn't hear her. "She can be weird sometimes. I swear she won't let up from me not having a boy-friend yet." Saki waved the smoke from Hewaijima's cigarette out of her face. "I swear that woman doesn't the definition of boundaries."

Burner tried some of the tea himself and his eyes widened in surprise. It was good and he smiled faintly.
"It's what moms do," he said softly with a little smirk. His own mother often tried marrying him off though she was very particular. He remembered a time when his parents had brought in a bunch of girls from noble families to see if he fancied any one of them. He hadn't, and after apologizing-which he really hadn't been up to- to the girls parents they'd left. Burner wondered faintly when they'd try that again. "You should see what my mom has put me through."
Suddenly there was a knock on the door, glancing at the door he wondered who it could be.
