The young man sighed as he watched in resolved silence. The Prairie really held the best of views, natural ones anyway. The wildlife and abundant fields were breathtaking but he would always prefer the crystal towers of his floating home. Ren turned and caught sight of the rays reflected of the glass spires that rose from nimbus city. The towers he himself helped redesign just four years back. The towers themselves could no longer be seen. Just a shimmering speck hovering silently along the horizon. He wasn't sure how long he'd be away from his home. He sighed again as he thought of the time he'd be spending with the earthen Delegates. 'This trip, as long as it takes for Ritta to recover, Then she must make the trip with a scribe and map master with the excuse of fetching me.' He shook his head. 'It'll take a month at least before I can even think about returning.' He forced himself to look away from his home and toward the Earthen territories; his home for the weeks to follow. He wondered what his mother was up to as well. He'd tried to find her to relay his plans to the counselor but she couldn't be found. 'What are you scheming now mother?' He wished to know. Her plans were impossible for even her son to anticipate. OOC: Not even I have any idea what ninnatta's doing... i forgot

Lilly walked along the tall grass letting it flow past her bare legs. She had decided to come back home after her fight with Aiden. She couldn't find him anywhere after a week of looking around. She felt so much guilt for yelling at the boy back in Seaway. She wanted to make sure he was safe. Glinting light shook her out of her thoughts as she walked along. The glass spires of the Wind Territory could only be detected by their shimmering light in the distance. Wind blew around here lifting her short hair. It had grown longer since her days of travel. A thought of cutting it had crossed her mind, but she liked how the slightly longer hair looked on her.

The king followed along with the caravan that was their transport. "Tell me young man how far from your city have you traveled?" Maximilian tried to make small talk with the young councilor. "I assumed you have at least made some travels in the small time you have had to live." The wind had picked up to a gentle breeze as they continued on their way. "I had many travels under my belt when I was your age, but then again it was a time of war."

"I'm afraid I've never been out of sight from those crystal towers." He turned his eyes back to the glistening on the horizon. "I lack the adventurer's mindset." He looked back onto the face of his kingly companion. "Though my cousin seems to more than compensate for the want."

"You should get out more and experience the different cultures of the land. Especially if you plan to follow in your mothers footsteps." The caravan's horses began to stir as a flock of birds flew over head. "No need to do as I say. I'm not your father, thought I would pass on advice." The caravan began moving again as the horses calmed down.

Lilly heard the sound of a horse neighing. She hurried over to a rock formation and looked over the top finding a convoy of what looked like state officials. "What's going on?" The convoy wasn't very big, but they definitely had a goal set in mind. "I wonder if they're friendly."

Ren smiled. "I may have my mother's gift for political deviancy but not her stubborn persistence or drive really." He stretched his arms over his head. He prefered to live as easily as possible. As long as he could have a bit of strategic fun from time to time. "I think I like my position as Proxy for now." He wasn't sure how long his contentment would last with the state of things but wasn't the type to push for things.

"Indeed you're different from your Mother... speaking of children where has my son went." Maximilian looked in the air seeing if he could spot him on his Deprentus. "Ah storm clouds, it's going to be hard to spot him on his black steed. Maybe we should set up camp and wait for the rain to pass as well." He rubbed at his joints feeling them ache. "A positive about my old age at least. I have the amazing ability to tell if its going to rain soon." He laughed quietly at his own joke.

Ren shook his head. "A black Deprintus. Very rare. while I'm visiting your lands I must hear tell of how he acquired such a proud companion."

Lilly squinted at an old man and a younger man. "That's a member of the council." She noticed his clothing from her seat on-top of her perch. "And is that member of the Earth royal family." She might have not been schooled at one of the villages, but her parents had taught her well on all 4 of the territories. "Why would they be talking together?" The two territories had been at it since the war. It was very uncommon to see the two interact.

"Oh it was by luck we had received the deprentus. A long story, one deserved to be told around a fire." Thunder could be heard rumbling far into the distance. "Alexander should be on his way if he heard that." Maximilian had the caravan halt. "We should set up camp now and wait for the rain to pass before it gets to rough, what do you say." He asked the younger man.

Ren bowed to the king. "You are far more experienced with such thing." He gestured for a servant to run ahead to the scouts and alert them that they would be settling into a camp as soon as possible. "If you say it is what's best then we shall do so."

Alexander flew through the windy skies sitting ontop of Dominion. "A storm is coming." The Deprentus neighed in agreement. He looked around them spotting the caravan easily in the rocky valley. "I'm sure they've started setting up camp by now, or at least sent out the word." Distant thunder could be heard in the distance. "Let's get out of the air shall we? Wouldn't want to be struck by lightning." He ushered Dominion down into their small caravan landing lightly on the ground.
"Ah Alexander just in time to set up camp." Maximilian had begun to help his servants with the preparations. "Help show the young councilor what to do. He's had no experience in this field."

Ren was not about to join in the pitching of any camp but he didn't say so. He simply smiled at the royal duo and gestured for his servants to continue. The looks that the servants were shooting each other said that they knew their noble would never assist and felt the royals were fools for thinking otherwise. They too kept quiet about it though, choosing instead to be thankful they could work in peace.

Alexander pushed Ren along hoofing him towards a separate tent at the edge of camp. "Come on pretty boy. This is where we sleep." Far away from the sight of others and on rocky terrain. Dominion came behind them nipping at the young mans hair pulling at it's edges. "Don't mind him, he likes to do that to new people."
