Salem held still, wincing as his wound stung with renewed vigor when the alcohol was applied. At the question, the raven haired calgor spoke up. "Haven't heard of the bastard, you're lucky...Most of Falmour's governments have been trying to keep tabs on him, but he's generally careful about what he does. As for where Blitz is...he was kidnapped by that calgor."

"Our dear Deluge shows himself." Jack had made sure to keep an ear out for the man's name. He watched the transaction between him and the elder female Restin. "I'll have to make sure to keep an eye on him.
Shizuo growled. "What the hell happened Salem?"

OOC: Where'd he come from? o.O
"We were all getting ready for the festival next week, setting everything up and what not," Salem said, his usual joy traded for a tactical look. "One minute, nothing strange, the next I was smashed through a wall and Seraphina was giving chase and as soon as I could I followed after. When I saw no one was pursuing Deluge I chased after and about got myself blinded. I'm sure you can figure out the rest."
It was a grim thought and one that Salem wished weren't true, but he had read the reports before. The reports of some unlucky individuals whose bodies were found abandoned and not intact in the slightest more times than not. Those who managed to escape seldom spoke of it and that knowledge scared Salem because he was sure that Deluge was more interested in chopping Blitz up then using him as a tool this time around.

"Calm down Shizuo. We'll worry about that later, but for now let's try to focus on Seraphina." Saki finished up sewing Seraphina's wound. "That's as good as it's going to get. I'm sure an actual hospital could provide you with better help though." She wiped her hands clean of blood as Pyro finally came out of hiding underneath the table. She hoped up eyeing up the wounded woman. "Pyro down." It did as was commanded and jumped down leaving the Restin alone. "Should we warn the city guard? By the sounds of it this guy is dangerous."

OOC: I don't know ^^ Jack likes to come out whenever he feels like. He has been looking for him anyway
Jack had lost track of the elusive Deluge, but he didn't give up on the search. He looked up over a crowd of people from a perch on a rooftop.
Shizuo walked over to Seraphina examining her wound. "It's still bleeding." He grabbed a bandage from the first aid kit and began to wrap the wound. "The city guard wont' help." He told Saki

"How could it hurt to help?" Saki had already began to grow aggravated to Shizuo's tone. "They could be out there searching for him while he tend to these two." He pulled Salem's head close looking at the cut. "Shizuo pass me some bandages will you... You should really learn to be more careful Salem."

"I will give that madman something, he's pretty good at aiming when moving at high speeds," Salem said, allowing Saki to look over the wound. "Special Forces...should be notified," Seraphina said, voice just above a whisper. "I didn't...check in."
She was a very busy individual and she was thankful for that. Even today wasn't a full day off and her time of arrival at the special forces building had long since passed. The black haired calgor was very punctual and so her absence would have raised suspicion already.
The door to the bar opened and the second in command in her unit had arrived. He was a brown haired calgor with honey hued eyes, and he wore a stern look upon his face. His name was Percival and he was a worthy comrade, one she was glad to have as her second in command. She grimaced as pain lanced through her side. "Speak of the devil..."
"You look like hell," he said, the faintest bit of teasing in his voice. It vanished just as quickly as it had come. "Are you well enough to brief me on why half of the Restins estate is in shambles and almost all of the upper district is in chaos?"
Both Restins stilled at that. The house had been intact when they'd left.
"Our family are they-" Salem started, only to be cut off by the officer.
"Shaken up but fine, so I take it you weren't there for that part," he said, letting out a hum of contemplation. "Very well. I will be taking over the investigation from here."
As he went to leave he felt a grip on his upper arm. Stilling him.
"I can handle this Seraphina. You should rest now and do your best to not get involved." As an afterthought and more than likely to get her to heed his words he continued with, "You will be no good to anyone dead, especially not your family. Some medics will be here soon to take you to the special forces medical facility. Is there anything else you can inform me about?" That worked like a charm. Slowly her fingers loosened before allowing him to free himself from her grip.
"Deluge was the attacker," the calgor's face gave away nothing, a simple nod was all that was given.
"I know he attacked the Water Territories with one of his horrendous experiments a few years ago, but I didn't think he'd come all the way out here. I shall inform the Head of the Special Forces then. Heal well, captain."
With that the brunette left the premises.

Shizuo didn't like this guy, He stayed quite wrapping Seraphina's wound. "Me and Salem should go looking for Burner." He took out a cigarette and started smoking. "That man will be focusing on Deluge and not on finding Burner." He had a bad habit of not liking those he had just met. "You good to move Salem. It is just cut."

"Perfectly capable," Salem said, his wound had stopped bleeding and the blood had been cleared away from his eye. The reason he had stayed for as long as he had was because of Seraphina's condition. Seeing that she was already gaining some color back made him breathe a sigh of relief. "Last I saw he was headed up towards the northern district."

"You two need to stay!" Saki's ears were flaming at the two thick headed fools. "What if Deluge comes back to finish of Seraphina. Me and her won't be able to fend him off by ourselves. And by the sounds of it neither can you two." She wanted to crack their heads together for being so short sighted. "We should go after Burner after everyone is healthy enough to go. That way we have a better chance of stopping him."

"I doubt he will..." Seraphina said, her voice echoing eerily in the deserted room. "Otherwise he would have killed me before..."
She'd been defenseless at the time and a very easy target. However, the eldest Restins didn't relish the thought of another sibling being harmed by that calgor. Or worse yet, getting killed. Though there was something she did want Salem to take care of.
"Go back home and check on the others," she requested softly. Salem nodded, seeing the value in that. Still, it worried him greatly on the thought of waiting as long as Saki had suggested. Seraphina was going to be out for a couple of days at the very least, if not a week. A lot of things could happen in that time and their brother might be a lost cause if Deluge's previous victims were any indication.

"Saki that's going to take awhile we should get going as soon as possible to try to find him." Shizuo turned towards Salem at her request. "I'll go there with you. Make sure everything is alright."

"Alright," Salem said, heading for the exit to the bar. It was around this time that the Special Forces Medical unit arrived and Salem thanked their timing.
Heading out towards the upper district the calgor could see, even from this distance, the destruction that had been wrought. It was devastating and he prayed that nobody had been killed.

Shizuo pulled a cigarette smoking as they made their way towards rubble. 'Reminds me of Jack's work.' He didn't voice his thoughts and hoped for the best for Salem's family. "Where do you want to start Salem?" Shizuo puffed away at his cigarette filling the air between them with smoke.

"We'll head towards the estate first...see if my family is there," he said, before heading towards the house. Climbing carefully over the rubble that they encountered along the way the second eldest child found his heart breaking the more destruction he saw. Then came his own home and he bit back the sadness in favor of locating his family.
Their mother was sitting with a maid upon what was once a wall of the house. Lady Restins was tending to a wound on the maid's arm quietly with an acquired efficiency. Dysis was kneeled a fair distance away from their mother. She was quietly trying to coax Colburn out of a shield his spirit beast had raised during the destruction.
Salem stepped forward, and both his mother's and Dysis' eyes snapped towards him. Neither moved from where they were, but the relief on their face was apparent.
"Where's father?" Salem asked, but he already had an idea. It was no surprise to him when his mother informed him that the head of the family was checking up on their servants.
"Where's Seraphina?"
"She's being tended to, there's no need to worry," Salem said, resting his mother's fears at ease. Right now he needed to get Colburn out of that shield and then get everyone to a safer location. Walking over to stand alongside Dysis the raven haired Restins bent down and reached his hand out to press it gently upon the cocoon like shield. "Col," he coaxed gently, feeling the shield bend and shutter. "Come here."
As if those were the magic words the shield warped before shattering into a million little shards. His eyes spoke volumes as they met with Salem's and the older sibling opened his arms. For a calgor with such a small and delicate frame Col about squeezed the life out of him once he wrapped his arms around his torso.
