"I hope he's okay. He stirs more trouble then you do." Saki could hope all she wanted, but it really wasn't going to change anything. "So Salem have anything on your plate. The last time we talked it sounded like you had something big going on." She was genuinely curious.

"Feh, he's fine I'm sure," Burner said with a flick of his wrist. One didn't get a reputation like Shizuo and didn't have the abilities to back it up. If that was the case than Burner was going to give him hell.
The older Restins shook his head, a look of relief flitting across his face, "Thankfully no and I suppose it was, but everything went as planned."

"Must be nice being a noble. My family is well off, but I don't think they were ever invited to anything fancy. Just most of the nobles tend to shop at my parents place if they have anything special planned." She shrugged ending it there. "I remember hearing that you had a fiance. How is she?" At this point she was just making idle chatter.

"It does have it's perks." Along with a whole lot of headaches Salem had to admit, but the good outweighed the bad.
"Oh my, they've never been invited?" Salem said, looking stricken. The Restins in general didn't host parties unless it was to try and marry of Blitz, which never ended well, and other than that their parents loved to throw festivals that all in the city could attend. There was actually a festival coming up soon, Salem had been able to return earlier than he'd anticipated and was able to help with the preparations. When the subject changed a fond look crossed his face as he thought of Clarette. "She's doing wonderful according to her letters. She should be returning to Kalama soon and I cannot wait to see her again."

"Looks like you got something on your mind there Salem." She elbowed him playfully. "And no they haven't been invited. As far as I know at least." Her ears twitched as she picked up the sound from something up street. "Did you two hear that?"

Salem chuckled softly before following Saki's gaze, he hadn't heard anything but the chatter of people passing by. Burner paused too and looked up towards the street, eyes narrowing.

"Sounded like a girl screaming." She looked far up the street at an abandoned building where the noise came from. "Come on let's go check it out."

Both Restins boys nodded and made their way towards the abandoned building. It was obvious it had seen better days, in fact it looked like it could fall apart at any moment. Perhaps the girl had fallen through the old wood flooring...? Burner wasn't sure, but they'd be finding out what went on soon enough.

"Want to go in?" She asked the two. "It could have just been my imagination, but I swear I heard a scream from in here."

Looked like there was a lock on the door...that was...strange. Not that it was unusual for people to lock up old buildings, but that left one question; how'd the girl end up inside? The lock looked awfully old...
"Might as well take a look," Burner said, walking up to the lock. Working his 'magic' the teen managed to get the lock off with little trouble, tossing the rusty old lock to the side as he opened up the doors which groaned in protest from years of disuse. Dust fell down from the ceiling landing on Burner as he walked inside.

Saki walked in after him. "Man this place looks old. Come on Salem what are you waiting for?" The floor creaked as she took a step in. "Why hasn't this building been taken down yet? You think after so many years of abandonment that the city would have it destroyed, or at the very least replaced." There was an eerie silence hanging in the air as she walked further in.

Salem walked in carefully making sure to take in his surroundings with a critical eye. This place looked like it could collapse at any moment...
"You sure this is where you heard the scream coming from?" Burner asked, wincing slightly at the way his voice seemed to get swallowed up the the silence.

"I'm positive. These ears are at least good for that." Her ears twitched as she pointed at them. "Come on we won't find the girl if we don't go further in." She walked farther down the hall lighting the way with a flame coming from her hand. "What's up with you two? It's just a building."

Burner followed after with Salem in the back. Burner clicked his tongue in irritation, "I don't have a problem."
"I'm just worried we'll fall through the floors," Salem noted, making sure to be careful on where he stepped. "We wouldn't be much use to the girl if we ended up in the basement. Unless she's there that is."
Burner suddenly felt something flick the back of his head and narrowed his eyes. "Seriously Salem? Do you want me to punch your jaw again?"
"It wasn't me," his older brother notified and the boy turned to glare at him. Unfortunately it didn't look like the older Restins was joking but Burner simply brushed it off and continued to follow Saki.

"Would you two knock it off? This is serious, what if she's hurt?" Saki kept moving forward lighting the way. "Hey is anyone hurt in here?!" She called out. "We heard a scream so we came to help!" There was no reply as her voice echoed through the halls. "How big do you think this place is anyway?"
