Sina landed on the thatched roof just as the sun was setting. 'Funny to have thatch in a fire city...' She thought as she lazily searched the shadows for Emory. She smiled as she sinced his presence behind her. "'ood evnin Emmy!" She greeted in a hyper tone. "Missed me?" Her eyes danced as she watched her partner and best friend seemingly appear from thin air as he seperated from the inky shadows that had hid him from sight. Had it nt been Sina, noone whould have ever found him.
Emory's smile was thin and ironic. "Good evening, Sinna." He greeted in returm. "And yes it seems I did fret while you were away." He moved to her side and sat, nodding as she did as well. "I take it you're here to ask about your toys."
"Sup!" She declaired with a glare and skowl. "You took mi babies!" She griped at him, exasperated. "That 'as below the belt, emmy an yous known it was too!!" She pouted as she rested her chin on her knees.
"Yes, it was cruel of me to hide your tresures." He admitted as he leaned back on the thatch. "It's in the sunken area of the cave system ypu loved to hide in to much." he allotted. "I'm sure you can infiltrate the camp and retrieve them."
Sinna frowned. "Ya gunna run off and not do your job again Emmy?" She asked quietly. "You only ever don that when it come to me ya know."
Emory sighed and shook his head. "You are right Sinna. You seem to arouse a protective instinct in me." He sighed. "I guess You're forever my little sister."
Sina grinned. "An Emmy's my big brother!" She anounced with glee.
"But if Deluge ever hears of this, I'll resemble one of his human slaves real fast." He interupted with sadness.
Sinna giggled. "They never do last very long, huh." She looked at Emory with a puzzled axpression. "Why don you leave too?" She asked him in a whisper. "You could hide better than me even if you can't run as fast."
Emory shook his head and stood. "I can't go." He told her seriously. "Deluge will guess I did it for you, and then you'll be on his personal hit list for escaping his order of death not only once but three times now." He took sinna's silence for argreement and turned to gace her. "I must go now." He told her and without further fare well he faded away into his shadows as quickly as he'd come.
Sinna sat there thinking for a few moments before she stood and lept away from their meeting place. She was quickly thinking of her entry into Del's camp to retrieve her toys.
