Okay this is the whole thing about humans and calgors, okay? Humans and calgors don't get along at all. Calgors are also naturally more resilient then humans.
Now about technology. Humans have technology. Falmour doesn't have hardly any, and smuggling technology over is extremely difficult as most don't make it across the boarders to Falmour. (Big scary as all heck creatures live along the mountains that separate the two places. You generally need an escort and that's unlikely to happen.) About the only calgor that has technology and a lot of it is Deluge.
Another thing is the currency is penins. However, gold is generally used by humans. Some take it, but the main currency is penins.
Kaotic you can add whatever you want in case I've missed anything, or just to add something.

wells so the races of Calgor DO NOT mix regularly outside of Del's group and the resistence.
Also Del and his group reall mistreat humans. like to an extreem... Like seriously read Business to Attend in ashen hollow. It's quite funny actually.
Lupe's right And I'd like to repeat on the money issue. The Penins are the accepted means of currency and gold is often laughed at among calgors. as is any form of paper money; totally lame around here kittens. Penins are forged in a metal only found in the mines scattered about Falmour. It resembles silver but is light, has an extreemly high melting point, and doesn't erode as silver does. In other words It's extreemly convienient for all races of Calgor.
And I think we touched on everything... other than that we don't really care how you bend our world to fit your imaginations but please keep the basic frame. yay! ;}
Lupe, We should prolly name the metal mined in Falmour...

Yeah...but I'm not good at names and I just realized that pinins was originally spelled pintens by you, in that Shopping thread X3. But its whateves.
Yeah you can bend just don't break our logic, even if it is very awkward logic XD.

Most of the villages near Falmour are pretty behind technically. though they can get some things from further cells of human civilazation.
Most calgores don't like to rely on technology. infact they hate it. they prefer to do things either with man power or with their abilities
