Leena smiled at John. "It seems the male in the tent desires my attention." She gestured Miranda's dismissal. "And not all my kitties keep to the dark. After all there's much that can't be accomplished clinging to the shadows." Leena chuckled "And as for getting along. I'm sure we won't. but you can be sure I will exploit your talents to the fullest."

John waited for Miranda to leave. "I thought that talk would have ended badly." He had no idea that they would have stayed civilized through the whole thing. "Anyway, where is that kid who was separated from his spirit animal?" He had finally come to a decision regarding his. "I've finally come to a decision about mine." There really wasn't any other solution. Some others were only temporary fixes.

"Ymir. He's the playful sort. If you wish to get something out of him i suggest you play along with him. He doesn't respond well to demands." Leena had figured it'd come around to this. "I suggest you hurry. He has a bit of wonder lust. he wont stay put for too long."

"Damn.... I just got back." He pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed. "Wish I had a faster way of getting there. You don't have some transport I could use do you?" John was getting real tired of not being able to stay in one place for to long.

Leena smiled. "We have many beasts available but if you want something fast..." She smirked knowing he'd find the irony in this. "We have a few Fenris Wolves." She loved the huge creatures. They were vicious and tricky things but nothing faster or more cruel had ever existed. She especially loved the few human myths created from these animals. "Though they're loyal to myself and my brother due to a... incident. lets just leave it that." She was still smirking at the idea of john riding a giant wolf. "You may try to persuade one to carry you."

"What do I have to do to "persuade" it?" He had his worries about this plan, but if they were fast he was willing to do it. "What's so funny?" John didn't trust this at all.

Leena shrugged. "I don't know, try to appeal to their beastly natures." She laughed knowing they didn't take well to bribes or force. "Just don't try to pull any dominating tricks on them. Lethe almost lost an eye with that one." She really wished she could go watch him try but Lethe had really let things pile up while she was away.

Miranda laughed outside of the tent leaning on a post. "I would love to see that." Their voices were hardly concealed inside the tent. "Maybe we could start a betting ring and see how long he lasts." The very idea of it made her giddy. "You could help me make even more money Wolfy." She smirked closing her eyes imagining the scene. "Awwww it would be a most hilarious sight. I'll give you a third of my winnings if you do it."

John glared at the direction of the womans voice. "If you want to bet I won't stop you." He turned to Leena taking out a cigarette. "All right where are these beasts?" He hadn't seen them in the camp before. "I imagine you have kept them locked up tight."

Leena laughed and waved his comment away. "Apparently you've never met one. I told you already. No dominating tactics." She scribbled a short note on a piece of paper. "Leave the camp and go south. It's not far." She handed him the paper with simple directions and a signature on it. "Give that to the nice boy that's there. If your nice he may help." though her tone said she doubted he would. "Miranda. Go find an officer and ease yourself into the training rosters and chore lists. Your progress will be noted and reported to me directly." She doubted the woman would have any difficulty with the training here but needed to know how well she could merge with others and follow commands.

Miranda poked he head through the tent and did a mock salute. "Aye, aye captain." She turned and left the two.

John grabbed the paper from her hands. "What happens if this doesn't work?" He was very unsure of these wolves she spoke of. "What if I piss one of them off?"

Leena smiled like it wasn't her problem. "Then I hope you survive?" She asked with an offhanded shrug. "It's a pain to reintroduce authority to these fools."

John walked out of the camp quickly finding the boy Leena had spoke about. "Leena told me to find you about these wolves."

the buy snatched the paper from the stranger's hand and snickered. "Miss leena's sense of humor is awesome." He wasn't much younger than leena but was a real shorty and a baby-face too so he looked like a brat. "She says you can try playing with the monsters huh?" He shook his head pitying the human fool that had agreed to such a thing. he eyed John and sighed. "Well follow me i guess." He turned and trotted through some thick trees and into a large cavern. "These Caves open up after a ways. You'll find the Fenris Wolves in an walled in clearing with a collapsed ceiling. They can't speak like the greater beasts can but they can understand what's said. not that they usually listen before attacking." The small boy slid his heal in the dust forcing the cave wall to fall and open up a long, wide tunnel. "A name to add to list?" He asked and pointed to a short length of scratched names on the cavern wall. "For when you don't return."
