Bain massaged Sina's back and held her close. "I don't know." He had to admit holding Sina close made him feel better too. "I haven't felt like this in a long time." He couldn't remember the last he felt true happiness. The silence was heavy as the two stood in the middle of the shared tent.

Sina felt hot. Her face was red and her chest was tight. She wanted to stay like this but also wanted to pull away. She pressed her face into his chest. "It's confusing." She mumbled and clutched at his shirt. "I don't know what to do.''

Bain kissed her forehead. She felt very warm, but he knew it wasn't a fever. He felt his heart pounding in his chest. "Why not just stay like this for awhile?" His eyes drifted over to the cot. "Maybe we could lie down." His heart felt like it was about to pop out of his chest at this point.

Sina didn't know. And she hated that. She peeked up at him with a helpless look in her eyes. She didn't like feeling weak and that's how she felt. Hoplessly weak confused and a little scared.

"Let's just rest for now." Bain hadn't been sleeping well the last few days and he felt it catching up to him. He took his outer layer off and crumpled it up into and improvised pillow. "You can have the cot. I'll take the ground." He laid down in the shaded part of the tent near the cot.

Sina sat with her knees pulled up and her arms locked around them as she stared at bain. She wasn't tired and was feeling odd and annoyed again. She figured she'd just sit quietly till her thoughts made themselves clear.

Bain looked at Sina from his position on the ground. He stood back up and moved to sit by her. A gentle breeze blew through the flap as he sat down next to her letting his head rest on one of the wooden poles that held the tent up. "You don't have to stay here if you don't want to." Those were his last words before he fell into a dream state.
His dreams consisted of nothing for awhile, but was soon replaced with pain, and torment. His Father was back on one of his rampages and he was beating his Mother while he cowered in his room. His eyes moved rapidly behind his closed eyelids and his fist clenched at his sides. His Mothers cries filled his dreams as his finger nails dug deep into his palms.
Bain's eyes shot open and his breathing was heavy. The sun had begun to set on the horizon and light begun to shine through the bottom of the tent. He had slept longer then he wanted. Sina was no longer beside him as he stretched his sore limps. "Should have slept on the cot." Sina wasn't in the tent from what he could tell. "Where did she get off to?"

Sina watched the sun set as she finished cleaning her weapons. The process had calmed her as it always did. She hummed lightly a lulluby she wasn't sure where she learned it before but she liked it. The dagger slid soundlessly back into it's sheath and she leaned over to look down. The trees grew large in this area and she'd climbed quite high. There hadn't been ant men who'd spotted her here even though several passed right below here. 'No one ever looks up' she thought with a smile. 'I wonder if bain will find me?'

He stepped out out of the tent looking across the camp. There were men walking about either training on their own or with a partner. A glare caught him in the eye and he looked in the direction it came from. There was a gleam coming from one of the nearby trees in the area. He made his way over to the tree and looked up. You wouldn't have seen it if you weren't looking for it, but he saw Sina sitting high up in the tree. He went to take off his grey cloak off but realized he had left it on the ground in the tent. He jumped up to the closest limb and made his way up the tree. "Enjoying the view Sina."

Sina grinned and leaned back. "These guys suck." She told him. "I've been running around camp all day and they didn't notice." She yahned and stretched her arms up.

"They could certainly use some work." Bain leaned forward resting his head on her shoulder. "You know you could have got some sleep while we were in the tent."

"I... wasn't tired." She pet his head softly. Sina had spent the day muddling through her thouts and feelings. She'd come to the conclusion that she liked bain and was attracted to him. She couldn't understand why since they were very different. 'He's such a calm and... well... good boy.' She smiled to herself. 'Not like me at all.' She sighed and closed her eyes. 'This is gunna get sticky.'

"Well you sound tired now." He hopped up to the branch above and rested his head on the trunk. "I wish John hadn't asked me to stay in this boring camp." Bain looked down at Sina giving her a smile. "But it's been better since you got here. Definitely more fun anyway's." Bain was still tired even after that nap. He didn't get any rest because of that damn nightmare.

Bain's branch groaned and sina could hear it would give out soon. She smiled and hopped up and swung around to the other side if the trunk. She was a little too high for someone of bain's size to accompany her. She pulled herself up higher and hummed as she waited for bain to fall."I'm nothing if not fun." She grinned and hummed to hide the creaking sound of the wood under bain.

Bain heard a rather loud crack and his eyes snapped open. The branch broke below him and he fell. He reached up grabbing the broken end of the branch. He hung limply with one hand as the branch fell below him. "You know that was going to happen didn't you?" Bain grew a smirk and threw himself up to the branch Sina was on. He could hear it creak from the combined weight of the two.
