Bain sat in John's tent explaining to him what he had heard from Jack. "Apparently you have some people after you John.... You killed the first attackers I heard were they any problem."
John paced back and forth in his tent smoking as he did so. He slowly laughed at the mention of the attackers. "Sure did surprise me at first, killed the first two with my sword." John motioned to the bloodied sword on the ground. "The other bugger ran off. That's where the change took over. It was intense Bain worse then before....... I lost control and the killed the man before he could even speak."
Bain looked up and saw that John had stopped passing as he furrowed his eye brows. "Have you ever met someone else with the same ability?.... maybe it's a stage in development, or theres the possiblity that your animal side is taking over."
John sighed as hit cigarette burnt down to the filter. "I don't know Bain......" The two of them stood silently in the tent in quiet contemplation. The silence was soon broken as two men dropped a crate hard and broke it outside. "Dammit!" John pushed open the flaps to his tent glarring at the men and the mess they had caused as Bain followed. "You two start cleaning it up before I lose my temper." The men nodded and quickly started cleaning the area. John grabbed the brim of his nose sighing again.
Bain noticed this and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Problems with the troops?"
"No, not particulary. But me and Leethe are having some troubles running all of these men by ourselves. First Leena runs off now Ember..... Why did they have to leave at the same time? It would be different if one had stayed then it would be easier to keep this placed organized." He quickly grabbed another cigarette and started smoking.

"Ember never stays long." Leena stood aloof, and submerged in shadows as she intruded on the conversation she'd been evesdropping on. "Though she's actually not part of this camp at all really." She smailed at the two men. "Did you miss me John?" She teased as she bent to retrieve bag. "I wan't even gone a week." She glanced at the sreinger. "So 'Bain' I take it?" She asked, having learned of him first from her brother and then heard his name from their earlier conversation.

John took a long draft of his cigarette nearly smoking it down to the filter as Leena showed herself. "Ah Leena you finally decide to come back.... In fact I did miss you." He nudged Bain in the side motioning for him to pay attention.
"Hmmm?" Bain was engrossed watching the men sparing in the distance. "Yes people know me as Bain. I guess that must mean your Leena."
John rubbed his temple's trying to dull the pain from his headache. "Where have you been this whole time Leena?.... You probably know this already but I was attacked last night."

"Yes and you made a real loud and bloody mess of as I've been told." Leena walked out of the shadowed opening trailing her now ripped and bloodied noblewoman's cloak. "Why don't you tell me about it while our friend here fetch's my brother?" She looked tired but still managed a playful smile.

John nodded and turned to Bain. "Do as she asks and get Leethe would you? He's in the biggest tent in the camp."
Bain did as John asked and went to go find Leethe.
John turned back to Leena noticing her ripped clothes. "You're hurt?" It came out as a question but it was more of a statement. "Dammit Leena." John mumbled as he took her hand and led him to his cot. "Would you sit down... you look like hell." John looked around for anything to use to clean up the bloody state Leena was in. "This will have to do." He grabbed the torn shirt from his transformation the other night. "You know I was worried about you." John said treating her wounds.
Bain eventually found the tent he was looking for. He stepped in finding a man that looked very similar to the woman he just met. "Leethe? You might remember me. I was one of four people who came here a few weeks ago looking for John." He looked slightly apologetic. "Me and my friends kind of made a mess out of your camp the last time we were here." He held out his hand for him to shake. "And I don't think we properly introduced ourselves last time. My name is Bain Orthos."

Lenna sighed and followed john to the cot and sat as instructed but swatted his hand away. "I'm not injured, john." She muttered. "It's not my blood, alright?" She was obviously tired and distracted. "Now when are you going tell me what I've asked?"
Lethe nodded to the man but didn't take the offered hand, both his were occupied with sorting through what looked like an erupted paper volcano. "yes the man with the torn up little girl." He muttered to show he did recall the man. "What do you want?"

John looked back up at her intense eyes. He was reminded of the time they showed each other their spirit animals, well at least moments before where he almost lost control of his anger when talking to her. "There's nothing much to say. Three men came in the middle of the night and tried to kill me." John noticed bags under Leena's eyes as he spoke. Her skin was slightly paler then he remembered. "Leena what the hell happened out there? You look exhausted." He didn't mention the fact that she looked out of focus.
Bain dropped his hand slightly glaring at Lethe. 'Now I understand what Serena was talking about.' Him and Serena had spoken of their conversation they shared before their departure from each other. "I was sent to tell you that your sister is back in the camp... She's talking with my friend as we speak." Bain kept his voice neutral as he spoke. He didn't know this man very well like he knew John. Though John did speak highly of him.

Leena didn't particularly want to explain her pas few weeks, but it didn't look like john would be easily evaded. "Fine, if you think you must know I had to track down some turncoats." She tilted her head, watchful of john's reaction. "Little insects knew I'd be after them and decided to burrow there way deep into government protection." She smiled a little. "And I just hate leaving loose ends."
Leethe looked up at the visitor. "So lele's returned?" He asked then glancing at his mess, winced. "She's going to kill me when she sees the state of things here and in camp." He turned and peered at a map and lifted a coded timetable. "I think it's time for a vacation." He didn't want to be anywhere near Leena once she saw these reports and as luck would have it a mission requiring his skills was calling from the fifth encampment.

John furrowed his eyebrows. "You shouldn't have went alone. You could have got yourself killed." He pulled a cigarette and lit it up before taking a long drag. The nicotine flowed through his system calming his already frayed nerves. "You could have taken Ember, or Leethe." John closed his eyes and massaged the back of his head turning to the exit of his tent. "Your our commander. What would have I done if you didn't come back." He turned around staring back into her eyes. "Or Leethe, or Ember, or the other hundreds of men stationed here?!" He threw his cigarette on the ground anger clearly in his voice. "We would have been lost!" John grabbed his head massaging his temples with one hand trying to keep his anger under control. He knew this wasn't his place to worry, or berate her for what she had done. She was doing it for the greater good of the whole camp, and she was the commander.
Bain smirked at the man sitting before him. "Serena was very right about you, though she was always one to stay organized." He turned to leave the man to his work. "Ill just tell your sister that you're preoccupied at the moment."

Leena was used to others questioning her decisions but that didn't mean she liked it. "Ember's a child and for her role in this needs to remain off any hit lists." She informed him. "And as for my brother, you saw how decayed this camp became with only my absence and that for just a few days." She grinned. "With Lethe absent as well these men would be dead." She yawned before continuing. "Or do you think you could have controlled these solders as the only authority within camp?" Her voice was steadily rising as she questioned him. "If so i shall move on to one of the larger, central camps where my command would carry more weight!" Her breath was labored as her pent up stress threatened to overwhelm her. "I need my brother." She stated and stood preparing to go find him.
Lethe sighed. "I guess that means she sent you here to fetch me." He knew he would have to go to his sister and he did miss her, but he really didn't desire the verbal lashing he was bound to receive. "And that damned woman is pretty rude herself." He tossed his papers onto the growing pile and snagged his cloak as he stood to go.

John steeled himself. "Look I'm sorry alright." He spoke quietly as he pulled out another cigarette lighting it quickly. He took another long drag burning it down almost half way. "But you still should have brought somebody with you. If not Leethe or Ember then it should have been me, or somebody you can trust." He massaged his neck again. "How long were you going to wait before you told me about my....." John paused searching for the right words. "Disorder?... A woman passed through here not to long ago and informed about it." He looked at her bloodied clothes. 'She should really get some rest.' He wondered to himself
Bain smiled once again at the sight before him. "Your sister keeps you on a short leash does she?" He saw something out of his peripheral. A faded image of his mother stood 30 yards away amongst other men staring at him. "Damn that doctor." He spoke quietly to himself. Ever since that operation with that crazy doctor Sina sent him to he had been seeing her recently. Sina had actually given him drugs to counteract it but he had refused to take them. The images of his poor deceased mother kept his goal straight. He would eventually find his father.

Leena looked at john as if he'd just asked a very silly question. "Because i trust very few, john." She explained. "So you know now?" She asked with curiosity. "I bet Lethe didn't like that." She laughed tiredly. "He went through so much trouble tracking down any who'd realize it and even convincing me to keep it quiet." She smiled. "You needn't worry too much. In fact, it's good you know now. This is why we kept you from direct conflict and put you up to dealing with the men and women here in the first place." She sat on the edge of a small table. "Your 'disorder' as you called it is really just your spirit beast resonating at a frequency that your shared consciousness cannot handle." She tilted her head. "Most who posses a spirit beast with such a frequency have a separate conciseness from the animal thus protecting themselves from the corrosive side effects." She turned her face away from his, looking out toward the camp. "What happens in cases like yours is that the rage and uncontrollable blood lust you animal posses slowly corrupts and corrodes your own conciseness eventually overrunning your personality altogether."
Lethe smirked. "Oh it's not too bad. You said she was in john's tent?"
OOC; I know a berserker is technically a Norse warrior who in literature fought in a nearly uncontrollable, trance-like fury but i altered it a bit to fit with what you said about to beast being the cause. Does my description fit with your idea?

OOC: It wasn't my idea. I just thought it would be cool have a werewolfish character. I think zombie was the one who gave it a name.
IC: John finished his cigarette and threw it on the ground. "You seriously need to work on your bedside manner." He went back to massaging his temples. "So eventually I will lose control." This was John's turn to sound tired. "That seriously puts a downer on my sunny disposition." He reached for another cig finding he was out. "So how long do I have till I lose all control?" He asked Leena.
"That's right." He fell into step with Leethe. "Gotta say you guys have a nice setup here. A little chaotic, but it's sort of a controlled chaos." As Bain spoke a man tripped over another carrying a crate. "I would seriously consider joining if you guys were more stealth and dagger."

Leena pondered the thought for a while. "truthfully, i can't be positive. Based on your level of control you have a fair amount of time. If i thought otherwise you wouldn't be in my camp." She looked hesitant but sighed and continued. "My spies in the air territories tell me of a boy who had his spirit animal forcefully removed. Although he is a calgor so it's not defiant you could survive such an ordeal. If you found the people responsible you could convince them to try." She shook her head. "It would mean the loose of the heightened abilities your beast gives you though should you survive." She laughed. "Anyway the decision would be solely your own."
Lethe Sighed. "The other units are farther developed and self functioning. This camp has a different path to forge." The reply was cryptic in meaning and his tone made it clear he would not explain any further to an outsider.

John sighed. "Not exactly something to laugh at Leena." He stood up and found his vest quickly putting it on. "I don't think thats the best idea. I am only human, if I take away my spirit animal I lose my only edge over others." He stared out of his tent at a few calgors honing their skills.
Bain stared at the man to his side. "Did I come across as intrusive? It was farthest from my intention, I was merely making small talk." John's tent was coming into view. "Ah here we are." He quickly stepped into the tent. "What did we miss?"
