"Shortly after My brother returns." Was her only reply. She'd lifted a piece of intel and offered it to John; a list of informants and spy routes to the camp. "It's not a complete list mind you. The only record of that is in my own mind. Memorise that and burn it before you leave my tent." She eyed him. "They will be your line to me. As well as one source of revenue. They'll bring you information. Accurate and critical information. My brother understands the codes and is perfect and intercepting any false information." She smiled "That is if you can manage to make him actually work on them."

John looked out towards the paper and grabbed it from her hand. "I might have to figure out on my own, I think it would be easier to do then to rely on him." He would have to read over this carefully. "Guess you don't mind if I stay here then to read up on this." He might as well get comfortable here. It was going to be awhile before he would memorize it.

Leena nodded and stood. "I have other... things to tend to." She smiled obviously enjoying her secrets and went to the small hearth where her cloak rested near the gental blaze. She lifted the heavy, generic cloak and not the rich and showy one she usually prefered.

"Watch yourself Leena." John said as she made her way out. "We might be in camp, but there are still unsavory types within our ranks." He turned around to face her. "Don't be afraid to call upon your dog." He of course referred to himself. John turned back in his seat and concentrated hard on the intel she had given him..... It must have been a couple of hours. The scent of torches being lit wafted in the air.

Leena slinked through camp lifting intell from her eyes within the camp. Messages hidden in everyday things no one else would ever consider as important. She smiled, the red head was really disappreciated throughout the camp. Her favorite little hothead wouldn't be too influential the for a while. Seems her twin's taking most of her attention for now. Leena was amused to see the child running with the groups given evening workouts. She'd known the girl had been running nearly all day and participating in the training regimes.
Ember groaned under her breath. Even the powerful ache of exhaustion wasn't overshadowing the strange pain still weaving through her limbs. It wasn't the pain she was used to. not from the countless times she'd courted death or pushed past her limits. It was unnatural and Ember despised things she couldn't understand or control.

John burnt the intel Leena had given him having it memorized. We left the tent and found the camp lit only by torches. He walked through the tents checking on the men here and there.

Ember lifted a tired flint knowing he'd fall asleep any second now that she was withing his sights. She'd raised him dotingly and he was hopelessly dependent. She was used to his slight weight and only noticed it because of her sore muscles. Even so she balanced his now sleeping form easily and went in search of the others. She nodded once. A tight, tiny, and unnoticeable twitch as she passed Leena. The boss was making her hidden rounds and twitched her slim fingers in response.

"Looks like he had a big day." John said walking beside Ember lighting a cigarette. "It's good that you take care of him."

Ember glared at the human. "I'm his entire world." She sounded like she didn't think that was entirely a good thing. "Since his human parents Tried to kill him." She obviously viewed humans poorly even though she didn't mind mixing calgor races. She didn't know the details since flint had been too young to understand anything besides his birth mother's desire to kill him. She tsked and walked faster. She didn't have anything against john but she'd never liked humans and doubted his ability to rise above his race's poorer tendencies.

"You better not get yourself killed then, would hate to see what happen to Flint if you did." John blew smoke away from the two of them. "You know I would be a very hateful man if I kept calgors in such low regards like you do humans." He widened his stride to keep up with the small child. "Especially fire calgors, after what I've seen them do."

She ignored him and jumped lightly atop one of the tents lining their path. She lightly leapt from canvas to canvas hardly jostling her charge or ruffling the tents as she passed. Her scanning warily for her sister.

Joy stayed behind Lazuli as she walked among the camp. "Where are we going Laz?" She asked the girl. Maim had retired for the evening inside their shared mind.

"Hm...? Oh, um...nowhere really," she said, walking was a good way to clear one's mind. Or at least that's what she'd been told, but so far her mind was still a muddled mess of questions with no answers. Sighing roughly the girl stopped walking and placed her hands on her hips. She nodded to herself as if assuring herself of something.

Joy stopped alongside the girl and took a look around. "Where has Ember went. She's been gone an awful long time." The wind caught her hood throwing it over her head revealing the scarred half of her face. "Hmmmm." She whined and quickly pulled it over her head hiding it from view.

"I'm not sure," Lazuli admitted, perhaps they could ask someone. As she looked around though, it appeared as if most inhabitants of the camp where busy with their own tasks and appeared intently focused on them. When the other girl's hood flew off she glanced towards her before looking forward. "Does it bug you? What others might think...?"
